Caroline Patton is a painter, animator, and textile artist based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. While originally in pursuit of a teaching license at the University of Mary Washington, she discovered a passion for creating work that encapsulates personal mental challenges and finding positivity in simple ways. Her work, featuring bright colors and childish characters, has been shown in the Annual Student Art Exhibition at the University of Mary Washington as well as in Brompton House. Patton is currently a monitor for UMW Galleries while completing her bachelor of arts.
