Caroline Patton is a painter, animator, and textile artist based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. While originally in pursuit of a teaching license, she discovered a passion for creating work that encapsulates personal mental challenges and finding positivity in simple ways. Her work, featuring bright colors and joyful characters, has been shown in the Annual Student Art Exhibition at the University of Mary Washington as well as at the Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts. Patton is now a recent graduate of the University of Mary Washington working on starting a small business surrounding her artwork and characters.
